Welcome to PLAYCARE! We are an in-home daycare facility located on the East side of Joplin, Missouri. Our primary care provider is Sharon Roth. She is a state licensed in-home daycare provider and is also CPR and First Aide certified. She has been providing excellent childcare services since 1987. We believe kids learn while playing. Children need to embrace the freedom of their early years and take the time to just be kids. We provide an environment where kids can thrive both creatively and socially so they can learn at their own pace and from other children their own age.

Pricing is for each full time child per week.
Child care for newborns (6 weeks old) through Pre-Kindergarten.

Our operating hours are 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Breakfast, Lunch and snacks are provided.

Do you allow smoking in your home?
No. The entire house is a smoke free environment.
Can you accommodate my child's allergies?
We try to accommodate all allergies. Please call for specific details and requests.
Do you have pets in your home?
No. Family dogs are kept outside in a kennel. The entire house is a pet free enviornment.
Do you accept Special Assistance Programs?
These are accepted on a case by case basis. Please call for specific details and requests.
Do you provide any Pre-Kindergarten activities?
Due to the variety of ages, structured activities are handled on a case by case basis.
During the summer months, the kids are encouraged to play outside as much as possible.
We believe kids learn while playing. Children need to embrace the freedom of their early years
and take the time to just be kids. We provide an environment where kids can thrive both
creatively and socially so they can learn at their own pace and from other children their own age.
Do you have a plan for emergencies?
Yes. We practice fire drills monthly and tornado drills every three months. Tornado drills include evacuating to the onsite storm shelter.
